It reminded me of C & Daycare. Friday was shopping day. The little ones who didn't go to school accompanied their daycare teachers to Safeways etc for the weekly grocery shopping. One Friday EVERYBODY went in their pjs. I love Stephanie Bridges. She taught me a lot about lightening up.

And I learned the hard way too. The horror of the fighting with C, as recently as last Christmas... the slash marks in the lampshade are there to remind us both of how where we do not want to go again.

You do so many wonderful things, you are so thoughtful. Today I picked up C and Charity from TAG @ Central, took them to Charity's grandma's house to make fudge after school, and I returned to work. I feel sad that I lack the time, energy or desire to do these sorts of things with C, but I comfort myself with the thought that there are others who Can and Do provide her with these experiences.

Some day pretty soon now you may find yourself saying to yourself "Does he EVER stop talking?" And then you'll remember and you'll laugh.

xxoo
