1: I am so very thankful that my mom was able to come down to Texas with me & Son. We had a grand adventure on our way from Washington to Texas and the memories we made are very special to me. Once in Texas it was wonderful to finally be able to share my home and life with her. The small things are what matter, how else would I know what to do next with my cast iron pan or the best way to rearrange my living room. It sounds simple but I am truly grateful for this. Thank you mom for coming with us!!
2. Starbucks barista's. I am thankful to the people who make my coffee on those mornings when I'm too tired or too much of a hurry to do it myself. You can say what you want about huge corporations (i'll join you on a lot of it) but it was so comforting to drive through any Starbucks between here and Washington and know that I was going to get the same tasting cup of joe. Thank you Starbucks for making my life easier. (no I'm not sponsored by them, lol)
3. I am thankful for Son's social skills coach. She has set up a truly wonderful program and I learn so much from her on how to make Son successful in all situations.
4. I am so thankful for the new google mail layout. It looks so much better and I love using it.
5. Thank you Great Mother for the cooler weather. I swear I was giddy as a school girl when I stepped outside this morning and felt that cold blast of air press against me. I survived another year in Texas!!
6. Thank you Money Saving Mom for inspiring me to prepare homemade wholesome food for my family this week. Also thank you for reminding me about freezer cooking and introducing me to CrockPot 365. Pretty sure you just rocked my world (in a good way) and I once again feel excited about cooking for my family.
7. Everyday this week I have looked and sorted through more pictures from this summer. *happy sigh* This truly was the best summer ever!!! I don't have words to express how grateful I am to have gone home and spent time with my family. My eyes fill with tears of love and laughter and gratitude for my family, my home state, and my husband who let me go. I had the time of my life.
